Dare we say, SPRING is around the corner.  We have a few more cold days left and possibly a flake or two, but it is the time of year we need to start thinking about Spring and the chores that come with it.  Loving your home and preparing it for the season change is critical.  These are items that could prevent an insurance claim on your home.  Take a quick read and see if any of these need your attention.

❤️ It is never too early to plan for spring cleaning. Tasks such as cleaning out your gutters, checking for dead trees and branches and cleaning and inspecting home mechanical and plumbing systems, such as heating and air conditioning equipment, can help make spring a safe season.

❤️ Inspect water heaters, showers, tubs, toilets, sinks, dishwashers, refrigerators and washing machines annually, and have them repaired if there are signs of leaks or corrosion. Be sure to include supply lines, hoses, connections and fittings in the inspection.

❤️ Keep your kitchen and appliances in tip-top shape by cleaning your common areas and clearing out expired items from your refrigerator and pantry on a monthly basis.

❤️ Thinking of a renovation project this year? When it’s time to call in professional contractors, you may want to speak with several and get written estimates from at least three.
