Dave Ramsey: Obama Has Screwed Up The American Economy

I have followed Dave Ramsey from the early days of his career.  I know many people who work on his team and have the pleasure of insuring many folks who follow Dave's template of financial peace!  One thing Dave doesn't do:  he doesn't mince words and you're never confused about what he thinks!  His financial counseling on-air, online, in churches, schools and to the general public have turned many debt ridden people into debt free winners! He had a pretty serious and factual rant about the current state of medical insurance a few days back.  He is voicing what I hear almost daily in my business with people facing MAJOR premium increases and loss of coverage as a result of our current healthcare insurance problem.  This industry is in the worse place I have seen it in my 38+ year career and Dave addresses it here:

So you are not addressing TN not taking Federal aide as part of the reason for Obamacare failure?  Most states that have the huge increase didn't take the aide. A congress that has obstructed anything President Obama has put forth doesn't hurt the plan. Come on Dave. Who you voting for this election. I bet Trumpf. Your credibility is shot right there with me.

Below are some things to consider before a loss happens:  Take photographs with a phone camera to document ownership of items.  Walk room by room, making notes of items. Don’t...

Are You Driving for LYFT or UBER? Are You Insured Correctly?

Two peer-to-peer trends that are growing in popularity are ride-sharing and personal vehicle sharing, or car-sharing. Most people do not realize that their personal auto insurance policy may not cover them if they were to suffer a loss using either service. Ride-sharing involves a transportation network company (TNC), such as Uber or Lyft, which provides prearranged transportation services for compensation. This is done by using a digital network (app) to connect passengers with drivers using...

April is Distracted Driving Awareness Month! Let’s kick it to the curb!

Driver distraction is a leading cause of vehicle accidents. Nearly 80% of vehicle crashes involve driver inattention, according to research conducted by the Virginia Tech Transportation Institute. Eating and drinking, talking to a fellow passenger, applying makeup, programming a GPS or navigation system, or simply adjusting the radio all qualify as distracted driving. But using a cellphone while behind the wheel is undoubtedly the biggest cause. According to a study conducted by Cambridge...
